By Group Size

A game that is wonderful with four can be flat with two and chaos with nine. Start with the number of people, because it rules out more wrong answers than anything else.

By Occasion

An occasion is really two constraints wearing a bow: how much you can spend without it being weird, and who is going to be in the room.

By Recipient

The same game lands completely differently depending on who opens it. This is the axis that decides whether it gets played twice or once.

By Budget

Most gift budgets are set before the gift is chosen. These pages start from the number and work backwards, and every price on them is live rather than remembered.

Gift Guides

The background you need if you have never bought one of these before: prices, playing times, age bands and the small number of ways this goes wrong.

Game Library

One page per game, with the publisher's own numbers rather than ours, and a straight answer on who should not be given it.
